Colton James, Nashville country music star who performed his "Brave Men" video at the JASPER plant recently paid a visit to the plant to sign CD's and talk to some of our 190 military veteran Associate-Owners that work at our facilities. It was great to see him and the newly wrapped Chevy truck he's driving with the JASPER Engines & Transmissions logo on it.

J & J Truck Repair was started in 1983 by John Jenkins. From 1983 until 1996 John performed all repair work on the road. In 1996 John moved his business into it’s present location in Rockaway Borough. He went from a one man operation to employing five mechanics. In 2000 he added on a parts division and hiring a Parts Manager. The shop has grown over the years to offer all types of repair services and a wide range of stock parts. Jasper Engines & Transmissions kicked off a business simulation project with Loogootee High School (LHS) in Indiana. Since the beginning of the program, at the start of the 2016-2017 school year, the program’s intention has been to introduce high school students to LEAN principles, and life skills, that will better prepare them for future career opportunities. The program is a partnership between JASPER, the DirectEmployers Association and Loogootee High School.
